Domaine Pierre & Anne Boisson
Pierre & Anne Boisson
History and Terroir
Pierre and Anne Boisson, a brother-sister duo, helm this small yet distinguished family estate in Meursault. With over 200 years of winemaking heritage, the Boisson family has deep roots in the region. Originally, their wines were released under the Domaine Boisson-Vadot label, but today, they proudly bear the names of Pierre and Anne.
Farming and Winemaking
The Boissons have 10 hectares of mostly old vines planted across various appellations, including Meursault, Mâcon-Villages, and Auxey-Duresses. They are strongly influenced by Raphael Coche, a childhood friend of Pierre's. In the cellar, fermentations are done with native yeasts, followed by long élevage periods of 19 to 22 months. Their wines are known for their impressive balance between concentration, oak use, and prominent acidity.
