Farming and Winemaking
One of the latest gems from this collection is Ruadh Mhor, a 13-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Distilled at Glenturret, Scotland’s oldest distillery, in 2010, this whisky was carefully aged in a 500-liter first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. The result is a rich and complex whisky, where the sweetness of red fruits, hazelnut, and oak meet subtle smoky undertones. Each bottle is unique, representing the spirit’s interaction with the cask over time. With only 250 bottles available, the whisky’s elegant presentation further emphasizes its exclusivity, housed in an oak case and featuring hand-numbered labels. At the heart of Davide Fregonese’s work lies the courage to pursue the path of quality, guided by a respect for the earth and a passion for sharing the beauty of tradition. The creation of Ruadh Mhor, under the banner of the Compagnia Italiana del Whisky, represents a journey that transcends borders, from the Scottish Highlands to Italy. This Single Malt Scotch reflects Fregonese’s drive to define a style that blends gastronomic tradition with modern elegance, offering an exceptional experience that remains accessible to all.
