Born in France 51 years ago, Eric Vergnes has spent most of his professional life abroad. Initially attracted by the exploration of deserts and Middle Eastern culture, Eric spent 7 years in Egypt, 16 in Dubai and also a few years discovering South East Asia whilst based in Singapore. He has worked in different industries and functions, from project finance for Schneider Electric, to industrial and commercial development of kitchen goods for Groupe SEB. Finally becoming an expert of brand building and development for luxury products, through 14 years working for LVMH, Richemont and Kering. Eric brings 30 years of managerial, commercial and marketing experience. Specialist in building and leading teams and explore with them the potential for developing businesses. Passionate of motorsport, photography, travels and discovering culture with a strong interest on history, languages and literature. A big part of the discovery journey takes him to culinary and wine experiences. His tastes brought him initially to French wines, between Bordeaux and Champagne, but his international exposure opened him to discover new tastes from Italy to Spain or Chile to South Africa.
