Jacquesson

History and Terroir

Founded in 1798, Jacquesson is a historic Champagne house. Initially operated by Johann-Joseph Krug, who later went on to establish his eponymous house. Since the 1980s, brothers Laurent and Hervé Chiquet have led the estate, implementing a chemical-free, terroir-focused approach. In 2022, Jacquesson was acquired by Artémis Domaines.

Farming and Winemaking

Over the past 40 years, Jacquesson has embraced a sustainable and terroir-driven philosophy in both the vineyards and the cellar. The estate has ceased producing its NV cuvée and instead releases a vintage-based cuvée that changes annually. The 700-series cuvée, which represents the heart of Jacquesson's production, showcases the expressive and mineral-driven character of Champagne.
