Ceretto

“We are looking to the future: our family is a group with a shared vision, we make decisions together, guided by respect for expertise: we give those who have something to contribute – to the company, and to the territory – the tools to achieve that vision.”

Ceretto

History

Ceretto’s Piedmont-based roots date back to 1930, when Ricardo Ceretto first founded his eponymous estate. Over the past century, Ceretto has become a household name for lovers of Barolo and Barbaresco alike, particularly those produced from single-vineyard sites. With nearly a century of experience under their belts, as négociants and as vignerons, the family continues to be a leading pioneer for revered red wines crafted from Piedmont’s crown jewel grape, Nebbiolo.

Today, Ceretto is operated by third-generation cousins Lisa, Roberta, Alessandro, and Federico – as it goes, business has always been all in the family at Ceretto. As of 2010, all of the family’s vineyards underwent organic conversion. Ceretto wines are known for their precise aromatics, concentrated flavor profiles, and incredible ability to withstand long hauls in the cellar.
