About Domaine Vincent Dancer
No estate depicts “quality over quantity” better than Domaine Vincent Dancer. Although Dancer farms just five hectares of vines, his precious holdings lay scattered across some of the Côte de Beaune’s most prestigious premiers and grands crus, including Meursault Les Perrières, Chassagne-Montrachet Tête du Clos, and the prized Chevalier-Montrachet. Originally from Alsace, Dancer came to Burgundy to spend some time in his family’s vineyards. There, he instantly fell in love with the prospect of viticulture and vinification -that he self-taught from scratch. He uprooted to Chassagne-Montrachet, officially becoming a Burgundian vigneron in 1996; later he became the first certified organic producer in the region. As of three years ago, Dancer has been joined by his son, Théo. Today, the pair runs the estate together as a father-son duo. All farming and cellar decisions are made as a team. Although Dancer has slightly upped his quantities since his early days, his wines still remain some of the most in-demand bottles on the market. Domaine Vincent Dancer wines are known for their purity, precision, and unbelievable reflection of place. It’s no surprise that they’ve become beloved favorites amongst collectors and industry folk alike.
